Croton is a diverse and complex taxonomic group of plants ranging from herbs and shrubs to trees.[3] A well-known member of this genus is Croton tiglium, a shrub native to Southeast Asia. It was first mentioned in European literature by Cristóbal Acosta in 1578 as lignum pavanae. The oil, used in herbal medicine as a violent purgative, is extracted from its seeds. Currently, it is considered unsafe and it is no longer listed in the pharmacopeias of many countries
Croton is a plant. The oil from the seeds is used to make medicine. Despite serious safety concerns, people take croton seeds for emptying and cleansing the stomach and intestines. They also take croton seeds to treat gallbladder problems, colic, blocked intestines, and malaria.
grows best in full sun, but many cultivars can tolerate, and even prefer, light shade partial shade. Crotons are best grown in subtropical South and Central Florida. Frosts or freezes will damage them
The croton grows relatively slowly, gaining less than 12 inches of height per growing season. The plant has coarse, dense leaves and usually grows to a height between 3 and 8 feet with a spread of 3 to 6 feet
Common name-Variegated Laurel
Maximum reachable height- 6-8 feet

Cycads’ only relation to the true palms (Arecaceae) is that both are seed plants. The Latin specific epithet revoluta means “curled back”,in reference to the leaves. This is also called kungi (comb) palm in Urdu speaking areas.
This very symmetrical plant supports a crown of shiny, dark green leaves on a thick shaggy trunk that is typically about 20 cm (7.9 in) in diameter, sometimes wider. The trunk is very low to subterranean in young plants, but lengthens above ground with age
it is tolerant of mild to somewhat cold temperatures, provided the ground is dry. Frost damage can occur at temperatures below −10 °C (14 °F).
The leaves are a deep semiglossy green and about 50–150 cm (20–59 in) long when the plants are of a reproductive age. They grow out into a feather-like rosette to 1 m (3.3 ft) in diameter.
Common name – Cycas revoluta
Maximum reachable height – 20 feet

The species are dioecious, therefore the individual plants of a species are either male or female. Cycads vary in size from having trunks only a few centimeters to several meters tall
watering every 2-3 days is must and they will grow more in the morning Sun
They typically grow very slowly and live very long, with some specimens known to be as much as 1,000 years old upto 3-5 feet
